WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
DHA = Dihydroxyacetone.
It's a colorless sugar derived from plants (usually sugar beets or sugar cane) and it’s the main active ingredient in most self-tanners and spray tans.
Why you should care...
It reacts with the amino acids in your skin’s surface through something called the Maillard Reaction — which sounds super science-y, but it’s basically the same type of reaction that browns toast -- except in this case, it's making your skin look super bronzed and glowy!
